A Hidden Florida Beach Town We Loved 💙

In July, Craig and I enjoyed a weekend in Daytona Beach, Florida on a trip with our This is Raleigh publication. While there we discovered New Smyrna Beach - and let’s just say... we’re already planning our return.

Tucked away only 30 mins south of Daytona Beach, this charming coastal town totally surprised us. It’s got:

✅ Laid-back surf-town vibes (and a shark title the locals are strangely proud of)
✅ A walkable main street with local eats & boutiques
✅ A beach you can literally drive on
✅ One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to 🤤

From sunset cocktails to cruising along Flagler Ave, New Smyrna Beach felt like the perfect mix of old Florida charm and modern coastal cool.
