Introducing: The Golden Thread
✨ A new story space I’ve been dreaming up...

Hi ,
For years now I’ve been sharing the where — where to travel, where to eat, where to explore in Raleigh. And I love it. But do you know what people always tell me they remember most?
It’s not the lists. It’s the stories.
The conversations with strangers who changed everything. The quiet lessons travel whispered when I was paying attention. The moments in Raleigh that reminded me why “home” is about more than an address.
It’s the kind of content I like to create most, but it’s been buried behind to do lists, algorithm demands, and just sheer exhaustion. But I feel called again to share stories that uplift and remind us of our own strength and power. I think the world really needs more of that.
I’m cognizant that many people within this email community are here just for the travel tips and destination guides - I mean that probably why I landed in most of your inboxes, so I don’t want to be giving you something you don’t really want.
But I also know many of you have been here for a while and like those more personal and meaningful stories I share.
That’s why I created something new: The Golden Thread.
It’s my more personal corner of the internet — a weekly letter where I share the stories behind the guides, the lessons travel and life keep teaching me, and the hidden connections that tie it all together. I’ll dive into topics that aren’t necessarily about travel but are tied to what I think is the greatest gift of travel - self growth, empowerment, taking better care of yourself, your loved ones and the planet.
Because let’s be honest: the internet is loud. It’s full of negativity, clickbait, and noise. At the moment, it feels like it’s at “I’m going to break you point.” I want to carve out a small space that feels different. A place where, once a week, you can exhale and reconnect to joy, meaning, and the simple truth that there’s more good in the world than we’re led to believe. And I want it to come to you outside of a social media feed - where that negativity is designed to grab your attention away from the goodness.
If that sounds like something your soul’s been craving, I’d love for you to join me.
👉 Join The Golden Thread here - it’s a simple optin box where you just leave your name and email.
Here’s to uncovering the threads that connect us all.
With gratitude, Caroline 💛
