Merry Christmas with Heartfelt Gratitude

Amazing Belize memories

Hey

This time of year always asks us to slow down.

To pause the doing.
To soften the striving.
To remember what actually matters.

Christmas isn’t just a date on the calendar — it’s a feeling found in shared meals, familiar streets lit up at night, laughter spilling out of kitchens, and quiet moments where nothing is required of us except to be present.

After one of the hardest years of my life - still filled with joy and adventure - and an exhausting couple of months of events and visitors, I am so ready for a slow, quiet morning. Since we’ve had guests for the past month (a much-loved part of our Christmas celebrations) I am way behind on everything and so can’t have too much time off. Instead, I’m reducing my daily work hours and making sure I spend time cooking with my girls, watching terrible Christmas movies, and doing jigsaw puzzles.

The balance in life comes from doing the best you can with what you have from where you are. I hope you can find that balance for yourself this holiday season. And if Christmas is not your tradition, I hope you find rest, joy, and celebration as you close out your year!

Thank you for being here. For reading, sharing, commenting, believing in us, and choosing connection — again and again, even when we go quiet on our channels. (Doing the best we can)

Thank you for trusting us to be part of your lives, your weekends, your traditions, and your sense of place.

Community isn’t something that magically exists. It’s something we build — moment by moment — through kindness, curiosity, and care. And this one? It means the world to us.

If this season feels joyful for you, we hope you soak it in deeply.
If it feels heavy or quiet or complicated, please know you’re not alone — and you’re still held here.

Our wish for you this Christmas is simple:

✨ More moments that feel like home
More ease where you’ve been carrying a lot
✨ More reasons to feel connected — to people, to place, to yourself

From our hearts to yours — Merry Christmas.

We’re so grateful to walk this journey with you, and we can’t wait to step into the new year together. I’ll pop in next week with some valuable 2025 lessons and highlights, and what we’re looking forward to for 2026. More peace. More joy. More adventure!

With so much love and gratitude,
Caroline & Craig ❤️
