Reflections on My Favorite Things This Year

This year has been filled with growth, joy, and connection. Here are a few of my favorite moments and discoveries:
🗽 NYC Trip
Kalyra and I had an unforgettable adventure in NYC filled with Broadway shows, shopping, and mouthwatering eats.
🛶 Family adventures in Wyoming
We only did one family trip this year (our new reality), and it was an enjoyable one road tripping the Salt to Stone region in Wyoming.
🎵 Inhaler
Bono’s son’s band took me straight back to my early twenties with their incredible music. The highlight? Seeing them live at my new favorite local venue, The Ritz, with Kalyra.
🎤 Concerts with My Teens
Attending live shows with my daughters has been an unexpected delight. Seeing Zach Brya and David Kushner with Savannah was a reminder of this beautiful new phase of connection with my teens.
👨👩👧👦 Family Time
We cherished quality time with my parents and Craig’s parents during their visit from Australia. Sharing Raleigh with them was so special. I am thrilled that my younger sister, Jen will be coming to visit us in June next year!
💓Fun with friends
We had a fun few days with our friends Colleen and Phil visiting from Scottsdale! It was a treat to share our hometown with them. A lot of laughs was had and good friendships cemented.
💼 This Is Raleigh Growth
It’s been exciting to expand into real estate with our partner Chuck (more to come!), collaborate with local businesses, and launch our online directory. New opportunities are on the horizon!
🐾 Peach the Cat
Our newest family member has been the perfect source of joy and healing after the loss of Ivy. If you follow our stories, you know she’s a lovable, chaotic bundle of energy.
🧘♀️ Daily Meditation & Breathwork
Getting back into my meditation practice and discovering Abbey Daw’s Breathwork has been life-changing. It’s a daily ritual that’s transforming me from the inside out.
📖 Kabbalah
I’ve loved diving into Kabbalah this year. It’s so aligned with my beliefs yet challenges me to do the hard inner work to become my best self and elevate others around me.
💡 Collaborating with Christina
It’s been inspiring to team up with Christina McEvoy on projects we’re both passionate about. I can’t wait to share what’s coming in 2025!
✨ Book Club with Neighbors
A new experience that expanded my horizons with books I’d never pick myself—but loved! Plus, it’s been a great way to build meaningful friendships.
It’s been a year of love, growth, discovery, and in alignment with my 2024 word, expansion. Thank you for being part of it! Here’s to even more adventures ahead. 💫
