The London most tourists miss

Lunenberg
Hi ,
There’s a version of London most people know: the bucket lists, the red buses, the packed Tube platforms, and the rush-rush, must-see-and-do itinerary.
And then… there’s another London that reveals itself when you slow down, wander without a checklist, and follow curiosity instead of crowds.
We’re helping you to find those hidden secrets and places to relax in London with our latest guides written by Louisa, our content editor, and local Londoner.
If anyone knows how to find secret gardens, bookshops on the river, hidden graffiti art, old church ruins, and very strange museum collections, it’s her.
This is a different way to experience London and the way we experience travel at its best — slowly, intentionally, and joyfully.
I have added several of these spots to my bucket list for my next visit to London… as there will always be a next visit
The Best Places to Relax in London

Even in one of the world’s biggest cities, you can find calm — if you know where to look.
Louisa shares peaceful parks, riverside strolls, cemeteries, and church ruins where the pace of the city simply… melts.
If you’re craving travel that feels nourishing rather than exhausting, this one’s for you
London’s Hidden Secrets (Places Most Tourists Miss)

Fisherman’s Memorial
In this digital age, where every square inch of the world has been photographed and placed on Google Street View, being able to discover something no one else has discovered is impossible, but we can guarantee that you’ve probably never heard of at least one of the following hidden secrets in London like the cafe in an old Victorian toilet,, a hipster island on the Thames and Kylie Minogue’s mummified poo. (yes, you read that right!)
And remember, you don’t have to be in London to experience this. You can look for the hidden corners in your own town, choose the slower café instead of the busy one, and wander your neighborhood like a traveler.
That’s the kind of travel I’m craving more of these days and have dedicated my daily life to now with our Raleigh site.
It brings in more presence, joy and discovery and less pressure to tick off those boxes for things you may just not really care about.
If London is on your radar this year — or even just your daydream list — these two guides will help you experience it differently.
And if it’s not?
Let this be your reminder: There’s always another way to travel. Even at home.
With wanderlust,
Caroline
P.S. I think you’ll find some of those places featured in the posts fascinating regardless of whether you travel to London or not. It’s traveling from your own comfy couch!
