We finally made it to Nova Scotia
and it surprised us in the best ways

Hi ,
It’s been a while since I last popped into your inbox (I’ve missed you!). Back in July, Craig and I escaped for a week, which was our longest stretch away from the girls They managed just as well as we thought they would… maybe better!
We partnered with Tourism Nova Scotia for a road trip that turned out to be one of the most unexpectedly wonderful adventures we’ve had in a while. We’d always heard great things about Nova Scotia — the dramatic coastline, friendly locals, and fresh seafood — but it wasn’t sitting high on our travel list.
Well, consider me humbled. I love it when a destination proves how silly you are for waiting so long.
From Nordic spa-ahhh-ing by the ocean to discovering how much cold therapy I could actually handle, to sipping wine in regions that reminded me of home, and tasting fresh, regional food that left us raving. Nova Scotia was the perfect blend of relaxation, landscapes, and culture.
The people were as warm as the saunas we spent hours in, and the small coastal towns had that peaceful, time-slows-down kind of charm we all crave. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
And I loved hearing that one of my neighbors decided to visit soon after we returned — following some of our recommendations — and came home singing the same praises (and thanking us for helping make their trip extra special). That’s why we do what we do.
We pour weeks, and a lot of soul and heart, into creating our travel guides — sorting through photos and videos, writing detailed itineraries, and crafting helpful tips that go deeper than the typical “here’s me twirling with a rainbow umbrella” kind of travel post. We want to help you experience it for yourself, minus the overwhelm.
We’re still not done completing the content but will start publishing our Nova Scotia stories in the next week or so 🤞🤞 We’ll be sharing guides and stories from coastal spa escapes to small-town gems and a road trip itinerary overview.
As always, thanks for being part of our travel community. It means the world when you tell us our content has helped you plan better trips — that’s exactly what keeps us going (for 15.5 years now!).
With gratitude (and a little Nordic glow),
Caroline + Craig
