Why support changes everything

Hey

Yesterday, I shared why this work continues and why it’s returning in this next form.

Today, I want to talk about something that took me a long time to fully understand:
why support matters as much as the work itself.

One of the biggest reasons I stepped away from the Money Cleanse all those years ago wasn’t because the work didn’t work.

It was because I was doing it alone.

When you’re holding something on your own, you become the only one who can cheer yourself on. The only one who can help you work through doubt. The only one reminding you of your worth — all while you’re also the one criticizing, judging, comparing, and questioning yourself.

That’s a hard place to stay steady.

And I’m living proof of how easy it is to quit on yourself when there’s no support structure in place.

If I’d had that support then — mentors, community, people holding the vision with me — I may not have stepped away so easily. Not just from myself, but from the hundreds of people whose lives I know this work could have continued to impact (and the ripple effect that comes from that.)

Because I know, deeply, that this is special work. I’ve seen it transform lives.

What I didn’t have back then was the container to help me stay in relationship with it. That insight has shaped everything about the Abundance Reset.

This time, I’m not holding it alone.

I’ve partnered with my dear friend and mentor Christina, whose own money journey and nervous system wisdom bring a depth of support that beautifully complements my lived experience. Together, we hold both the practical and the emotional — the doing and the being — so you’re not navigating this work in isolation.

And just as importantly, this reset is held in community. Because we are not meant to do the hard, vulnerable, identity-shifting work alone.

In a world that feels increasingly isolated — even as we’re more “connected” than ever — real support matters. Being witnessed matters. Having people reflect your worth back to you when you forget it matters.

Inside the Abundance Reset, community isn’t about motivation or accountability in the traditional sense. It’s about creating a shared field of safety where growth doesn’t require perfection, just presence.

The community isn’t there to fix you or push you forward. It’s there to help you integrate and normalize the ups and downs, celebrate awareness, and anchor new ways of relating to money as life unfolds.

This work asks a lot of honesty. And honesty requires support.

Here’s what Cindy said about community and support:

The daily emails kept me accountable and being part of a community also adds a level of support, so you don’t feel alone in the journey.

Tomorrow, I’ll share what the Abundance Reset actually looks like — how it works, when we begin, and how you can decide if this is the right time for you.

With love and light,
Caroline

P.S. Today you can listen to Christina’s Money Story. I shared mine in yesterday’s email in case you missed it.
